SAFETY IS A PRIORITY
Stage West and Moonrise Initiative are committed to the health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff alike. We honor First Responders and the importance of public health. In an effort to mitigate risk and limit the spread of COVID-19, our companies have developed the following protocols using CDC and state guidelines.
Upon arrival, all attendees will be temperature checked and screened for symptoms. The symptom checklist will also be sent out in an email the morning of the performance and anyone experiencing any of those symptoms will be asked to reschedule their attendance for another night, fee free. Masks are mandatory once on the Texas Wesleyan grounds and must be worn at all time outside of the individual seating areas. Once inside the seating area, masks may be off only for the partaking of concessions. One member of each seating section must provide full contact information with the box office for potential contact tracing.
Before beginning rehearsals and prior to performances, all Moonrise Initiative company members will be tested for COVID-19. Each rehearsal and performance will be conducted with distancing and masks and will be proceeded with a symptom and temperature check. The performance is movement-based. Any dialogue or narrative is pre-recorded for a minimum spread of aerosol droplets. Understudies are also in place to cover for any member if they experience any symptoms.
The Stage West Staff and the company members of Moonrise Initiative will adhere to the same protocols listed above while also maintaining a low social profile throughout the performance timeframe.
